"This is a fine hotel with a great location. The hotel is located on a peninsula, but you can not drive, you need to park a car in the hotel parking lot on shore. The trip across on a small boat works fine and is only 5 minutes 24/7. The beach has the same issue as many other hotels on the west-coast of Fiji: A wall and lava-rocks are placed, so that there really is no beach! You should plan for using the pool all the time, which is fine enough, but nobody tells you in advance :)
We had a beachside bungalow on the southern side of the main building and we had approx. 700 meters up to the restaurants! If you have trouble with walking make sure you get a room close to the main building, as it's quite a long walk. If you get the last bungalow I would think it's over a kilometer to breakfast AND back again!
When we arrived, the bungalow had been offered to someone staying longer and was not ready at checking-time. We accepted the wait for maybe 30 minutes more, but when we arrived at the bungalow cleaning was still working on it and the floors were completely wet, not the best experience...
