"This property was perfect for us to be able to explore Nelson and the surrounding area, and then retreat to our mountain oasis at the end of a busy day. We had family members staying in Nelson who we visited and adventured with, and I loved coming back to a quiet place to wind down and relax. "We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this home. It is in a perfect location for exploring the surrounding national parks. Yoho, Glacier, and Kootenay are each about an hour's drive away.The town of Golden is quite charming with 2 grocery stores, a liquor store, several restaurants, and a fabulous bakery called Ethos. "We have had a wonderful stay in this property. The house is beautiful and lovely and warm. The kitchen is well equipped with anything you could need. The communication with the host was easy. We didn't use the hot tub because there was an abundance of mosquitoes directly outside the properly (there's nothing the property can do about this but it should be noted for future visitors). "We had a great trip to the Banff/Golden Area. The condo fit our family perfectly. Having the hot tub at the end of the day to relax in was a huge hit as well. The beds were very comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked. Even though we had to do a little more driving, the accommodations made it worth while. It took some planning, but we were able to leave in the morning and be gone most of the day to see and hike many sights. Way more affordable here than staying in Banff area with a family...
