"The house was much bigger than the pictures showed and our hosts provided so many extra amenities- beach towels, laundry detergent, lots of bath towels, coffee station and so much more. Their attention to detail was so greatly appreciated!! The neighborhood is very central to go north to Crescent City or south to Oriok. Definitely stay here again if we come back this way. We even had a mini brown out due to a fire farther away and the hosts came right over with extra lanterns and to make...

"We really enjoyed staying at this cottage. It was within walking distance of the beach and our friends rental on Pebble Beach Lane. My only recommendation would be that the owner get screens for the front windows and bedroom window. Otherwise very happy with our stay. Owner was very responsive to my emails about the internet and TV. "

"We had a wonderful time in this quiet and well stocked home. It was a short walk to the beach which was stunning. The proximity to the town was great and we were able to see the Redwoods and have a seaside getaway at the same time. We would absolutely stay here again. The home was comfortable and the beds were great! "

"Best rental house on the Smith River! This was our 3rd or 4th time here and it's still our favorite rental house ever. Fully stocked with every possible thing you might need. The hosts are great and very helpful and the location is unique in that is has the best access of any rental house on the Smith River. Even my barely mobile 84 year-old mother-in-law could get down to the beach to watch us kayak and swim. My only tiny complaint is that the knives in the kitchen were almost too dull to use,...
