"This was just a great place to stay! Very convenient (and walkable) to lots of places to eat. Rooms were clean and simple and perfect. The whole property was clean and well kept. The staff we met, Billy and Braedon, were very friendly and helpful and provided us with loads of information—guiding us to come back!! The other staff in the office were super friendly and helpful too. We are so glad life afforded us to come to Avon and stay at the Avon Motel!! "

"This was not our first time staying in a hotel down in the Outer Banks. However, I can say this one out did the last two that we had. The kitchen had every appliance that we could need. It was a little odd, not having an office, but actually worked out better than I thought it was going to. The communication with the person that checked us in and helped us with room service was incredible and fast. There was a washer, dryer, and a dishwasher. "We stayed for a week mid-May, family of 5. Property was as described and pictured. Classic beach/lake house vibe. Plenty of kitchen utensils and appliances. New towels. Great pool with plenty of loungers. There is a very short walk over thru the dunes to the beach, right behind the house, the beach is very quiet and clean, lots of wildlife, crabs, birds....We visited some other beaches further north and this one was much cleaner and much less crowded. Maybe one group of people every 300-400...
