Everything felt cozy and homey. They even had coffee and cookies available in the room. And they provided a little binder full of hiking spots, restaurants, and things to do nearby which was very helpful. If I ever come through this town again o will definitely stay at Madeline’s. "

We were in a room next to the pub so we didn’t have any noise except from guests using the hot tub and they quieted about 930.
Only issue we had was it was warm so we wanted the windows open but the staff used the space by our window as a smoking area. We were able to open after they left for the night.

"Absolutely stunning- book any activities prior- and check to see what you are receiving we thought we were in the castle but our room was in small lodges a short walk away- we took a cab from Carlow- beautiful grounds and castle"

There is an amazing restaurant called the Strawberry tree restaurant, a great leisure centre. Overall, i think it is a little gem and off the beaten track but it is a must see. There is also a lovely quaint looking church beside a river stream-ideal for weddings. "
