Summary:

Welcome to Sunrise Suites, a peaceful community on Key West's southeast side. Just 1 mile from the beach and 10 minutes from Duval Street's attractions, this two-bedroom condo complex features uniquely designed units. Enjoy access to a shared hot tub, heated pool, walking paths, biking trails, a tennis court, and on-site laundry facilities—everything you need for a relaxing stay!



The Space:

The Trinidad Suite offers a spacious layout, featuring a master bedroom with a king-size bed and a private en-suite bathroom. The second bedroom includes a queen-size bed with direct access to the hallway bathroom. For additional sleeping arrangements, the plush blue sofa unfolds into a queen-size bed, comfortably accommodating up to 6 guests. Relax on the private balcony with seating for four, or unwind on the couch while enjoying cable TV.



This condo is part of the upscale Sunrise Suites community, conveniently located just minutes from Key West International Airport, ensuring a seamless journey home. For those driving in, the condo includes one designated parking space for added convenience.

Our contactless check-in procedure makes check-in easy. Guests will receive a personalized access code prior to arrival.



The Neighborhood:

Trinidad Suite is located inside of the Sunrise Suites Resort Community located just minutes away from the World Famous Duval Street and its vibrant restaurants, art galleries and nightlife. Inside the community you can find a corner store, spa, walking and biking trails. It is also located just a short drive away from the nightly Sunset Celebration and entertainment at Mallory Square.



Getting Around:

One of the best parts of staying in Key West is how close everything is on this charming 2x4-mile island! There are plenty of ways to get around. If walking isn’t your style, rent a bike from Fury or Island Bicycles and enjoy a morning ride to breakfast or a sunset ride along the water. Both providers offer convenient pick-up and drop-off services. For a more unique island experience, explore Key West by scooter or golf cart from Minty’s Rentals, where “island time” becomes your mantra.



If you prefer traditional transportation, Uber, Lyft, and taxis are readily available. Pink Taxi is a reliable, affordable option, perfect for rides from the airport to your rental.



Each apartment includes one parking space, but spots are unmarked and available on a first-come, first-served basis, so proximity to your unit isn’t guaranteed. If additional spaces are available, feel free to park a second vehicle free of charge, depending on the lot’s vacancy.

Nice place to stay

The furniture, housewares and linens were very good. Two complaints, one minor but annoying was the toilet paper holder was falling off in one of the bathrooms. More problematic was that the ceiling fans conflicted with each other. When the person in one bedroom afjusted the fan it also operated the one in the other bedroom. It turned on the light which would have been a big problem in the middle of the night.

Hard to find when we got to property-several buildings. Underwear that was not ours was found in behind a dresser. Property was fantastic for relaxing as it is far away from grocery store restaurants. Overall, the place was nice. The convenient store in the complex was great and had a lot.

Things to improve

Needs more toilet tissue and a better brand. Plugs for phones beside the bed. System for fans, lights and HVAC system didn't work very good, maybe it was the thermostat. Remotes for fans and lights were very weird. '. Light and fan remote controls were very confusing. It controlled all the rooms, not just the room you were in.

Great place!

The host was able to get us in early which was a great benefit. The place was clean, had two private bathrooms and a balcony, which was great to sit out on and relax in the mornings. I recommend.

Family friendly property

The property was in the perfect location for family time and the pool was a great amenity for cooling off after a day of adventure. We traveled with our adult children, their spouses and our 18 month old grandchild. The pool facing balcony was nice and added to the living room space. The large walk-in closet in the primary bedroom was converted into the babies room and was perfect for napping and early bedtime. The tropical grounds were clean and well maintained, parking was never a problem, and the elevator and rolling carts were helpful. The unit was neat, well equipped, and comfortable for our party of 6 (plus baby). The unit is dated, but truthfully has everything you need for a comfortable stay.

awesome keys trip

Property was accurately described and hosts we prompt to respond to any questions. Easiest check-in/out ever. Location was perfect and 10 mins from everything. Beds were very comfortable. Would definitely book again!

Condo is clean, but not updated for quite awhile. It fit the bill price wise compared to other Key West venues, but is pretty far out from Duvall Street, 4 miles, and parking there can be a nightmare. Listing also says a beach across the street, but, that means at least a 1/4 mi to the street. Also, no street sign on entrance to this "tucked way back" condo. All in all, it was good for the price.

Great time but property dated

The people were nice but the property was quite dated. The control for lights and fans in the bedrooms were the same so if you wanted to turn off a light in one bedroom, the other bedroom light turned off as well. If you wanted a fan in one bedroom but not the other, it wasn’t possible. The stove top was warped which made the burners stick up and hard to use. Thankfully we didn’t cook much. 😃 We also experienced a water outage that it appeared had nothing to do with the unit but for the entire section of the island we were in. Overall we enjoyed our time in key west. If you are looking for a place to lay your head and not a lot of extra, this place will do.

Clean and well furnished

Enjoyed our stay but better directions on how to get to our unit were needed. Unit numbers are not on the outside of the building so trying to figure out where our unit was located was challenging. We sat on out porch and watched many people experience the same difficulty trying to find their unit.

Wonderful experience

One member of our party arrived earlier than check in time. We were able to receive access code to get into condo prior to check in time. Much appreciated. The key pad seemed to give us a little issue, though. When we called about it, we came to find out that the issue was just because of the early arrival. Funny thing was, though, the number listed to call called a unit 2 floors up! Even though we met some nice people through that call, it was a bit confusing for that upstairs unit and us, as well. That issue was resolved after a message was sent through the app. The bedroom TV wasn't working and was replaced the very next day, thank you for such prompt service. One suggestion is for a clock somewhere in the unit. Nightstand clocks would especially be nice and maybe one in the living room/kitchen area. We never used the pool, however it was beautiful. We looked forward to the hot tub but it wasn't working. This was addressed in a message and was told the HMA would be notified. Understandable, but still a let down. Overall a terrific stay!
