"We all absolutely no complaints on our stay, the properly was cleaned for our arrival and we even had a cake with some wine left for our arrival. I only gave 4 stars for accuracy of online listing due to the maps location on the posting did not match where the location actually was and we got a lil lost but a quick call with the host and we found it. "

"Fantastic property with everything you'd need, or thought you didn't need.... great hosts who were eager to make sure we'd settled in and had everything we needed or any help with suggestions for sight seeing (although great information book supplied). We were new to the area but found the location perfect as a base for exploring near and far. over a few days..plenty to do on your doorstep with shops and eateries with-in Melrose if you don't fancy cooking. Will certainly be returning later in...

"So peaceful and cosy, with added extras, like a welcome basket, and electric blankets!! as the nights were chilly I'd recommend the Lodge to anyone, and there are two holiday cottages at the end of the estate too, next to the Hosts big old house. Lovely garden, trees and fields good parking too at the side of the Lodge. We loved it!"

"This is a lovely little cottage in a quiet hamlet within a short drive of Bamburgh, along the scenic coast road. We had one question for the host during our stay, and she responded almost instantly. The cottage was clean and well furnished and we quickly felt at home. When we next visit Northumberland we will definitely check if it's free. "
