Great location and good privacy

Bring most of your home with you because there isn’t much of anything there to use or cook with. Had to buy toilet paper and paper towels and plastic wrap and tin foil and much much more. Wasn’t clean when we arrived although owner said he did clean. Carpets were full of dirt and lint and pull out couch had some ones shirt in it and a cigarette in it as well as the fire place remote. Kitchen cabinets and fridge had lots of greasy hand prints all over also. Some of the fire pit chairs are very weak and old. Only one towel per person for 4 nights stay. Location was awesome and property was big and private and cottage has modern upgrades that we enjoyed. Overall, we enjoyed our time but not very impressed about the lack of things that every other place has had in my past experiences. Cost me another 100 on top of the rental fees for the stuff we needed to make the stay enjoyable.

Wonderful stay at beautiful Cottage

"The check-in process was seamless, with a thoughtful call from the owner providing their direct contact for any assistance—a personal touch that truly set the tone for our stay. The cottage exudes charm, recently renovated to perfection, and maintained to an impeccable standard of cleanliness.Every detail was thoughtfully considered: the heating and hot water worked flawlessly, ensuring our comfort, while the beds offered just the right balance of coziness for a restful night. The kitchen was a dream, fully equipped and ready for culinary adventures.For families, the cottage is a haven, brimming with a delightful assortment of games to keep kids and teenagers entertained. To top it all, the Wi-Fi was lightning-fast, a rare luxury in such tranquil surroundings.This gem has earned its place in our hearts, and we can’t wait to return next summer to relive this incredible experience!"

Great private place, lots of space!

We really enjoyed our stay at this property. We were a group of six, and there was more than enough space for all of us. This rental is well equipped with everything you need. The deck was beautiful, and the campfire pit was so peaceful. We had a fire after dark and sat in the Muskoka chairs with a beautiful view of the water. I highly recommend this rental, we would stay here again for sure!

Nice getaway in Little Britain Kawartha

We had two families of 7 people stay at this cottage. It was easy to find, the place is nicely renovated just like the photos, and it is clean. We liked that it has two full bathrooms, modern/working appliances, easy access to water - although the amount of weeds and lily pads mean you cannot swim. But we were able to canoe (2 provided), kayak and paddleboard out from the dock. Tried fishing but only got really small ones. Once past the lily pads the current on Scugog becomes fast and there was quite a bit of watercraft traffic passing through on labour day weekend. As many reviewers mentioned, there is a bare minimum of cooking and eating utensils for the max allowed 8 guests, so bring your own if you plan any serious cooking. The BBQ is provided with propane. We enjoyed the foosball and air hockey table. The air hockey table does not seem to produce much air but it is playable. 5 minute drive to a convenience store with LCBO section. Overall a nicely kept cottage.

on a quiet street, beautiful view, beautiful home, clean, beds are comfortable, great location, owner was quick to respond what needs some improvement are blinds or blackout curtains on the bedroom windows, more supplies in the kitchen, no propane for the BBQ and it was too late for the owner to provide it, although he was very apologetic, overall a great place to stay!

A nice, calm getaway

We had a pleasant stay at the home. The pictures of the clear water weren’t accurate, as the area was covered with water lilies (perhaps have more variety of pics to showcase diff seasons) The place is super clean and well kept, which we appreciated a ton! Kids enjoyed the Fooseball & air hockey machines - overall a great time! We may be coming back again sometime in the future :)

Amazing stay

The place was super clean. And had almost everything needed. Beds were so comfortable. The place was exactly same as shown in pictures. I will highly recommend this place if you wanna hangout with your friends.

Great property overall

We had a great time, the cleanliness was perfect, the location is great and the lake access is beautiful. Our only complaint is that the kitchen supplies were a bit short if you wanna cook for more than 6. But we managed to do it, so is not that big of a deal
