"Great 2 bedroom condo. Spacious and very clean. Walkable to many restaurants including Whalers village which is right next door. 2 drawbacks : shower temperature was off and hard to adjust, shower was cold for at least 5 min before becoming warm and a very loud noise was always present coming from the generators in whalers village. "We LOVED Hono Koa! So much so we didn’t want to leave. We are a family of five and two bedroom and two bathrooms were perfect for our family. We loved having a kitchen and bbqs and we cooked at the condo most nights making the trip much more affordable. We loved the pool and the grass area where we watched the sunset every night! We loved our neighbors and had an AMAZING TRIP! "

Staff was always friendly and willing to go out of their way to help. Check in after hours was a breeze. Cool pool area we never used. Parking was always available no matter when we got back and free. Nice convenient area. Food truck courtyard looked interesting but never could find the entrance will definitely stay here again"

"We arrived at night and the check-in process was smooth. When we woke up in the morning we thought we were dreaming, stepping out onto the balcony, we were able to experience whales, sea turtles, sea birds and butterflies...in addition to the spectacular view of the crystal blue water. "Nice location with good view of the ocean and mountain from the outdoor space. Great for family. We had one minor maintenance issue during our stay, owner was very responsive and the issue was resolved quickly by the on site maintenance crew. Would definitely come back."

"We have stayed at the Whaler several times and this was the nicest unit to date. Recently remodeled with current decor. Nice view. Host had all the necessary kitchen equipment and beach chairs. Communicated easily. Will definitely return!"

"It’s a small lovely place just yards from the ocean. Right now the building next door is being renovated so it’s a bit noisy at times and it’s close to the road so you do also hear road noise but a lovely convenient place to stay on Maui. The owners were very accommodating. Overall, we enjoyed out stay here."
