"We loved the property and our room. The AC was cold; the bed was comfortable. The property is close to shopping and restaurants. There is a small Frig in the room. We grabbed ice from an ice maker on the property and made drinks in our room to enjoy on the balcony or by the pool. The wifi worked great and it was easy to use the code to access the room. The condo has silverware, plates, bowls, cups and bbq tongs for the gas bbqs that we used a couple times. We’ll be back."

"Description of this property was spot on! Check in was easy and property manager was extremely helpful. Location of the property was beautiful and we enjoyed waking to the sunrise and listening to the ocean. Easy access to restaurants, shopping and getting to all points of interest. If we didn’t feel like driving, we could walk next door to the Coconut Market Place which had restaurants, shops and a market. Super convenient, clean and friendly. Had an awesome experience. "What a great place to spend a few days in Kauai! The condo was exactly as represented, which was beautifully appointed and centrally located. We loved it! Next time we can come back, the first thing I'm going to do is see if this space is available. It's perfect!"

"We loved that the unit was oceanfront and we could watch the sunrise every morning. Wish there was a small dishwasher though so we didn’t have to do everything by hand. But the room was well kept and nicely decorated and very comfortable. Thanks for the chocolates! "

"The expansive property was secluded and beautiful even though it was a short walk to restaurants, grocery, shopping and shaved ice. The room/bed was very comfortable and it was always quiet and peaceful. We loved sitting on the lanai and watching the waves."

"We cannot emphasize enough how amazing David and Lynda's home is. From the moment we arrived to the day we (sadly) left, the Wailua Hideaway was a dream! The back garden, looking out over the stream and mountain, was perfect for morning bird watching with a cup of coffee, and the house was stocked with everything you would need. Plus, it was beautifully decorated and so inviting. If we are back in on Kauai, we would not hesitate to stay here again! Mahalo, David and Lynda!"

"This is an adequate place to stay. The room is small and there is no ability to cook other than the microwave. There is a refrigerator but no freezer. The bathtub took a long time to drain after use. But....it is close to the beach and a nice ABC store and it is ideally located to explore the island."

"The Hoover's are absolutely some of the best condo hosts we've dealt with in our many years of visiting the Hawaiian Islands. Ralph's communication is excellent, the entire process is easy and streamlined, their condo is exactly as described, clean, comfortable, and such a great location. We will be returning for sure. "Overall I give this one an 8 staff is great location okay noise level 5 Short walk to the beach. View is pretty good. A few things didn't work. Or we're missing. But I was told by the property manager. They are working on those. The central coast is great As far as getting around the island. But the road noise and sirens. Might be a bit much for some. "We loved staying here for our time in Kauai. Very short drive from the airport. We loved being so close to the water and the boardwalk along the beach was a beautiful walk. Lava Lava Beach Club next door is a fantastic restaurant as well. Overall very happy with the experience. Hassle free check in, no parking issues. THe market nearby is great too.Highly recommend."

"Very happy with our stay here. If I had to mention something that would would make it better, It would be. 1) more towels available in the closet. Just wasn't enough for a full weeks stay. Very affordable pricing for being on a nice property right on the beach. I would recommend it!"

"We had such a great time staying! The place was super cute and cozy. We enjoyed the wild chickens/ roosters roaming around, the lizards, and the sound of the ocean. My only complaint is that the dang rooster doesn’t under stand when it daylight and he loved waking us up earlier than we would have liked lol, but it was great being up early to enjoy the view! Would definitely stay here again."

"Worn and dirty The room was worn with a number of deficiencies, e.g. rust ran down the bathtub, the doors in the room had obvious large, black stains of dirt and there was old dust and dirt in the corners. The room had a small balcony, but the furniture was so dirty that it could not be used. The hotel hallway was not cleaned during the 6 days we stayed there. The area around the hotel was messy and there was litter in several places. The best thing about the hotel was a grassy area down to the Pacific Ocean, here were chairs and the area was tidy."
