In the wintertime snowfall is abundant with an average snow coverage of up to 5 months in accumilation between 1.5-2.1 meters. The mountain is a major center for winter tourism due to its excellent accommodation for skiing, snowboarding and other winter sports. This naturally occurring waterfall is one of the towns most notable landmarks, in addition to the fortress and numerous museums. There is a viewing platform for the waterfall (entrance fee 4 marks), although the best view is from the opposite bank of the Vrbas river.
