"Very friendly and helpful front desk. The tatami room was very clean as was the bathroom and private onsen on the terrace. Both the Kaiseki dinner and breakfast were excellent with seamless service. A very nice stay at an excellent hotel in an out of the way village."

"A good standard Japanese Business Hotel, very close to the Railway Station and the walking distance to the castle. Do not forget to take advantage of on of the volunteer guides free of charge if you visit the castle. The hotel has a nice onsen on the top floor, take advantage of that too. It has a free sauna as well. Staff is very helpful and speak quite good English for this type of hotel. Excellent value for money."

Un vrai petit châlet dans un coin paisible, même si il fallait monter tout en haut d'une colline, c'était vraiment un cadre exceptionnel. On pouvait presque croire que nous étions dans les Alpes françaises, haha

"Great spot away from the busy Tokyo area. The rooms and the hotel is special in its own way and has a lot of character. Felt like being in my grandparents home. Really enjoyed staying here and it made it incredibly easy to walk to and from the train station to get bus tickets. Would definitely tell friends to stay here in the future. "
