Lejligheder i Kamikōchi

"Nice authentic Onsen, the meals were high quality and very authentic. The establishment would need a lift up but it was clean, large room with excellent meals."

"We stayed at this ryokan for 3 nights and we loved it there! It is family driven and has such a lovely and local feeling. Our room was big, authentic and had a really nice onsen. Everything tasted amazing and we loved that the ingredients was local and in season. We also got help for activities. "

Yes, you can take the Western rooms, but the Japanese rooms will give you a better local vibe. If you take the breakfast and dinner option, then be prepared not to eat anything else. They supply yukata's and belts and you'll feel more comfortable being in traditional garb. It's a slog out and back to Matsumoto, so just make that a one-off day trip. Hirayu is much closer (15-mins) now the...
