"The hosts are very kind and considerate and we had a nice stay in a traditional Japanese style room with very authentic Japanese meals for dinner and breakfast. The hotel is perhaps a little dated but it added to the charm and it is very clean. We didn’t get to try the outdoor onsen as we had hoped as we were put off but a large spider other guests alerted us to. Nevertheless we enjoyed our stay."

We stayed two nights at Tabist Kazeyuki as we wanted to hike in Kamikochi. The hotel is located 3 minutes walk from the bus terminal, which makes it very practical!
There's 3 onsen at the hotel that you can use, and they are private (meaning you can go in together as a couple of different gender). The rooms are nice and big, and the staff are insanely helpful and kind! We had forwarded our luggage to the hotel, but it had not...
