"My husband and I vacationed in Kauai for the 3rd time in 6 years. We got married in Poipu in 2018 and fell in love with the island. This trip was our 2nd time staying on the North shore and it did not disappoint. Hoku Lani was perfect for us. The location and property were wonderful. "Third time at the house. It's perfect for us, bc we want to beach all day every day and it's only a short walk. It's always clean, and the house has everything we need so we can pack light. Quiet street, you can hear the surf, and see the most amazing stars at night! Loved the fresh flowers greeting us upon arrival. Can't wait for our next visit!"

"We had stayed here before, and it was even better than we remembered! The location was perfect and it was easy to travel everywhere on the island from here. The place itself was clean, cozy and peaceful. The hosts were very responsive and helpful. We will be back for sure!!"

"Could not get over the view. The resort was gorgeous and the balcony showed it all including the beach. The room was basic but fit our needs. Plenty of towels for the two of us for beach and home. The pool and hot tub were great. The beach on the property was not great. Not for swimming, but nice to walk down and listen to from our room. Did not love the resort daily parking fee. It was as much as our car rental and because the property was secluded you had to pay it. Location was great tho....

"We had a nice stay at this cottage. It is super clean. I don’t think I have ever rented a home in Hawaii where I’ve not seen a single bug. We loved sitting on the lanai, watching the ocean and fabulous clouds. The kitchen is well equipped and the WiFi worked well. We’ll be back."

"This was a great place to stay. It was very close to everything we wanted to do on the island. Great neighborhood and well maintained. My only complaint, which didn't even bring it down a star was that sound carries very well in the building. There were multiple couples staying in the home so if anyone wanted to stay up after anyone went to bed it was necessary to stay quiet. On the other hand. Worn and dirty
"Worn and dirty The room was worn with a number of deficiencies, e.g. rust ran down the bathtub, the doors in the room had obvious large, black stains of dirt and there was old dust and dirt in the corners. The room had a small balcony, but the furniture was so dirty that it could not be used. The hotel hallway was not cleaned during the 6 days we stayed there. The area around the hotel was messy and there was litter in several places. The best thing about the hotel was a grassy area down to the Pacific Ocean, here were chairs and the area was tidy."
