"My fourth stay at the Kalamazoo House didn't disappoint. As always, Amy is a delight and the breakfasts are a great start to a day. The room was in excellent condition and everything worked as expected. Can't wait to have an excuse to come back."

"Loved this hotel. Clean, friendly staff and accomodating. The room was more than I anticipated and more than I needed. With the large space, kitchenette and two beds, it will be hard to go back to a regular hotel room. Nicely done!!"

"Easy check in/out. Great location. Hotel and room were clean but our room had a “funky” smell. Only one of the elevators worked."

"Gentleman that checked us on was very nice and outgoing. Room was comfortable and quiet. The courtyard in the back was a nice amenity as it was a warm spring evening out and we were able to have pizza and a beer out there while letting our new puppy explore the great outdoors."

"First room we got the AC was broken and blowing hot air. It felt like a sauna. They switched us no problem. New Room was ok. Elevator was broken. Rooms were under construction and wide open leaving the dirty construction smell in the hallway. First glance rooms were clean but when you looked closer there was dust everywhere. The toilet seat was broken. The ceiling over the shower was bubbled like it had a leak from the room above. If you just need a place to sleep this is the place."

"Vibrant colors and comfortable lounge area with breakfast was nice. Free parking was excellent and easy to access. Room was mostly clean but shampoo/conditioner had not been refilled before my stay and were not refilled on my cleaning day. Staff were somewhat helpful but not as helpful as they could have been, especially regarding the snacks for purchase when they were not willing to point to something I was looking for even though I asked and instead let me find it myself."

"First of all, I couldn’t get checked in due to the third-party booking app I used. The gentleman was kind enough to allow me to go to my room in lieu of waiting for the response. He knew that I was a travel nurse because I frequent there often. My advice to anyone thinking of staying here is to book at the front desk directly with him as he will match any third-party app and there’s never any issues"

"Wound not recommended the restaurant within the hotel. We went there for breakfast. Portions are small for price. No jelly with toast and one waitress serving the whole restaurant. This is the only downfall of our experience. Room was adequate. Everything seemed to clean. Staff was helpful."

"Hot tub was broken. Blood on the sheet. Our room was close to the bar and it was so loud our baby kept waking up all night long, well after the 11pm close time. Staff was nice and respectful."

"Parking was great. Breakfast was very good. Staff allowed a party to keep guests awake after midnight. When asked for a room transfer they were very helpful and immediately provided with a different room away from the noise and rowdy guests. Staff did ask rowdy guests to be quiet several times. However when rowdy guest continued to be rowdy they did nothing other than provide us with a different room."

"Location fine. Problems with the door not locking and shower broken. We had to change room at 8:30 at night The staff was very helpful but it was a hassle."
