"I booked Upjohn House but was told I had to come to Henderson Castle to get the keys, and I should stay there instead. It was nice enough, the setting of Henderson Castle is beautiful. I had a lovely French breakfast my first morning, but when I came down the second morning, no one was around, I was told breakfast was from 6:30-9:30, and I was downstairs at 7:00. "Gentleman that checked us on was very nice and outgoing. Room was comfortable and quiet. The courtyard in the back was a nice amenity as it was a warm spring evening out and we were able to have pizza and a beer out there while letting our new puppy explore the great outdoors."

"No waffles. Has Bacon "crumbles" which we found kind of strange for breakfast. The rooms have no coffee, tea etc. but it is available 24/7 on the lobby. Rooms are neat and clean, no carpets, we considered a plus."

"Room was a bit run down. Didn't seem like it was cleaned in awhile. Dust on the counters and cabinets. Toilet had a mold ring in it. Breakfast seemed stale. They do not put everything away everyday and leave it out until the next morning. "

"Overall a very nice and new hotel. Staff was very friendly & service minded. Always smiles. On the negative side, a was missing a vibe as there is no dining or bar area at all. Breakfast very uninspired to say the least and could be a whole lot better and fresher. Noise from the roaring highway becomes bothersome after 1-2 days. But overall I had a good stay. "
