Awesome but ....

Location awesome. Facility including pools etc awesome. The only negative I have is our actual condo. It was extremely dated, had some mold issues, and was dirty. There was dust everywhere. I think if the place had a proper cleaning crew it would be amazing. The owner was amazing to deal with prior to our arrival. We did not communicate while on vacation as we felt the condo was livable however it needs a good cleaning.

Great property overlooking the golf course

Convenient, quiet, clean. Had beach chairs, snorkeling equipment , umbrellas and boogy boards as a bonus that we used.

Comfortable Breezy condo

Condo was exactly as pictured, beautiful mountain views from back lanai and a peek at the ocean from the front lanai. Had everything we needed, spacious and comfortable. Enjoyed the use of the Tommy Bahama chairs and cooler for beach days. Would absolutely stay again!

Great spot!

We love this spot! Beautiful grounds, well maintained condo with a large golf course view lanai. Easy walk to the farmers market and the outrigger to watch the manta rays. We will definitely be back!

Nice property. Good location. Condo is older but in good condition. If you cook a lot, which we didn’t, the kitchen is well equipped.

Love this condo

This was our second stay at this condo and it did not disappoint! We love the location. We love the complex. The Internet is fantastic. The place is spotlessly clean, and everything that you would need is in the condo. Check in and check out is super easy. We will definitely stay in this condo next time we go to Kona.

Great location and well-managed property

This rental is located just a few miles outside of the busy Kona area in a private and well secured resort golf course location. Just two minutes away from great restaurants and a large grocery store, the rental was roomier than expected and even included two outside porch areas (one off the master bedroom). we were very satisfied with everything and we will return to rent this same unit again next year.

Great first time in Kona

Had a great time on our first visit to the big island staying in Mark's condo. The condo had everything we needed for an enjoyable stay: full kitchen, washer/dryer, beach equipment, A/C, etc. Location was great and the condo was peaceful and quiet. We used the barbecue grill and ocean pool almost daily. Would definitely visit again and stay at the same condo. Thanks!

Location, Location

Location, value, response! Kanaloa is a beautifully maintained, safe resort condo complex near the Keahau harbor. 1203 is very private and located directly across from the ocean pool which has a spectacular view. Swim in the pool and listen to the waves crash on the lava rocks and watch stunning sunsets. We couldn’t find a better value. Condo is clean and roomy, Andrew was responsive and accommodating. Highly recommend this condo.

Pristine condo in a beautiful location close to the beach and local shops.

This place was a perfect getaway for my family and 2-year-old daughter. Check-in was quick and easy at the front desk, and it took no time to get settled. All of the rooms were clean and organized. It was lovely waking up in the morning to birds chirping and relaxing with a cup of coffee out on the Lanai. The pool area is close by and overlooks the ocean, which is perfect for watching sunsets, and it wasn't overly busy whenever we visited. The host was in communication when an issue came up, and the response and actions taken to resolve it were A++ quality work by them and the contractors. Overall, we had a very memorable visit for the three nights we stayed. It is on the top of our list to stay at again next time we come to Kona.

AC full of mold

My family has stayed at this complex several times before. We’d recommend this complex, but not this unit. After a few nights my pregnant wife and 20 month old daughter became sick, and we noticed when we left, or the AC units were off, everyone’s conditions improved significantly. Looking at the AC units more closely (that we paid extra to use), they were full of black mold, confirmed by the on-island contact. This caused us to check out early and find other accommodations due to health concerns. We made the owner aware of the situation, and requested a partial refund. We got the 30 day cancellation policy sent back to us, and a sorry you got sick.

My husband and I stayed here and our family stayed in another larger condo. The facilities in the condo area are great. I really like the layout and large size of the condo. The other condo we had was more updated but this condo was very functional and nice.

Home away from home

My husband and I booked this condo for our stay during the Ironman World Championships. We wanted a place with a kitchen and less like a hotel with just a coffee pot and mini fridge. We were blown away by how wonderful the Condo is as well as the whole resort. When we arrived we found the location easy to navigate to and the area quiet and away from all the bustling in Kailua-Kona. The bed was comfortable, the shower has great water pressure (something that has been an issue at other resorts), and the kitchen was great for meeting our needs for that high maintenance type-A triathlete. We had to do some work while staying there, and the internet is fast and reliable for doing work calls and zoom meetings. The condo has access to the resort amenities, more than one pool (the ocean pool was serene), tennis courts, and reasonable access to the Kona Country Club (not included). We were able to walk up to the shops if we wanted to and discovered that we are also walking distance to a pier that does snorkel tours and manta ray swims (an absolute must while in Kona). Highly recommend if you want to visit Hawaii/Kona but stay in your home away from home.

Wonderful home base for a Kona vacation

This condo is ideally located in a gated community in the Keauhou area South of Kona adjacent to the Kona Country Club golf course on the ocean. The apartment has two lanais, one off the living room with a golf course view and another off the bedroom with a partial ocean view. The complex is very well maintained and has multiple pools for use including an ocean front pool with a fantastic view of the rugged Kona coast. The apartment is very well maintained and is well appointed for both water sports and self catering with a fully equipped kitchen and communal BBQs in the complex. I look forward to booking this property again for future trips to the Big Island.
