The condo was everything the pictures show plus more! It was very clean, spacious and the views were so incredibly beautiful! Watching the turtles swim while relaxing on the huge lanai and the amazing sunsets at night were my favorite. We were able to get a late check out which was very awesome!! If you are looking for a beautiful place to stay...this is the one to book!

Breathtaking!!

Our stay was absolutely amazing. The management was friendly and helpful. Our beds were comfortable, the condo is gorgeous, and OMG THE VIEW. Every morning we sipped our coffee on the balcony and enjoyed watching sea turtles - it was truly amazing

Great Location

The location of this unit was great with a large balcony that overlooked the ocean and we were able to see whales almost constantly. Unit was very clean and appeared to be recently renovated. Building renovations were going on during our stay but was not an issue for us. Only issue we had was the washer was not working and could not be fixed while we were onsite. Was a little bit of an issue since we were on the tail end of a 2 week trip but we managed without it

Lovely Property and Unit

This was my second visit to the same property and unit with my sister. The updates in the interim 2 yrs were noted and much appreciated. This was the perfect 'base camp' for our daily adventures around Maui. My sister and I highly recommend this property and unit.

Perfect location

What a beautiful condo. The layout was perfect. Basically 2 king suites and another 1/2 bath in the living area, so it was perfect for 2 couples with extra room for a couple more people if needed. Oceanfront view was amazing. Great location if you like a relaxed vacation. Several restaurants within walking distance. A few shops as well. Will definitely come back!

Really great place

Views from this condo are incredible - amazing sunsets, and we saw sea turtles from the balcony at least 20 times. Great location on the island - easy walk to snorkel rental and a few shops and restaurants, and just a short drive to Lahaina. Some casual restaurants with great views we enjoyed just a short drive away: The Gazebo, The Sea House, The Beach House. We also had a great time snorkeling just a short drive away at Slaughterhouse Beach (weird name but beautiful beach). Cold filtered water in the lobby for filling up our water bottles was great, too.

Maui getaway

We stayed with our adult children in this lovely condo. The patio was great with amazing views of blue water and sea turtles. We enjoyed the beach and pool. The condo was well appointed. The air conditioner in the master was lacking, but there were fans available, so we just put it in front of the door and took air from the living room, which was quite cold. We enjoyed this property and would recommend with hesitation.

Awesome place with a wrap around view of the ocean!

We LOVED this property. Sure, it has a few small drawbacks, but nothing that negated that view of the ocean and palm trees. We loved it so much that we hated to leave.

What a view, what a great unit

As soon as we opened the door the first word I heard was "Wow". The unit is very tastefully furnished and has everything you would want to have an outstanding experience. The views from the balcony are spectacular. We were lucky enough to watch sea turtles just off of the beach each day and the sunsets were epic. If we got back to Maui in the near future I would not hesitate to stay here again.

AMAZING VIEW.

This condo is absolutely beautiful and comfortable inside with wrap around views of the ocean. The location is quiet and right on the beach. The beds are extremely comfortable including the pull out couch. However, the air condition does not supply enough air in the master bedroom to be comfortable in the evenings. It was hot and very stuffy in the room in September with temps in the 80's. The rugs in both bedrooms need to be professionally cleaned. Also, several holes in the screens causing my whole family to get mosquito bites all week long. Please understand all issues above have been addressed with Hawaiian Life owners, who were attentive to my text messages. I am confident they will resolve these issues soon.

Yes it's that beautiful

The unit is exactly as it appears in the pictures! Stunning views from the lanai, with plenty of seating. Great location very close to Lahaina center, approx 1 hr to Wailea, and approx 1 hr to beginning of "road to Hana". 2 little convenience/liquor stores right across the street, snorkel rental & sushi (v. good) place as well. We didn't spend much time at the pool, but it's very clean, and plenty of chairs. We used the grills one night which were very clean and nice for a night in. Highly recommend The Plantation House for dinner, just an 8 minute drive. The condo has all that you might want/need, even things you wouldn't expect (an insulated water bottle which we used a lot). Plenty of beach chairs, coolers, sand toys, beach towels, etc. A nice bonus is the little, but well equipped gym in the bldg. This was a perfect place for us (family of 4, all adults). Would def stay here again. Mahalo for maitaining and offering such a beautiful home.

Perfect Vacation Stay

The condo was perfect for our family (2 adults and 2 kids). The place was very well stocked (beach gear, plenty of towels, pillows, blankets, toiletries, etc.) and the location was awesome. The view from the balcony was breathtaking. Our vacation in Maui was amazing.

This View NEVER Gets Old!!!

Royal Kahana 610 is just amazing. The view from the lanai carries throughout the entire living area, so you can prep & cook dinner in the (fully-stocked) kitchen without even missing the views. We had friends staying in another unit on-site. Their place was actually really nice, but they ate every meal with us just because… The decor is pretty perfect, & the kitchen has everything you need as far as pots & pans, cooking utensils, & even food storage containers & supplies. You will find that Maui, in general, is very Earth-friendly, & there are even recycling bins on the basement level here at RC. This made me very happy! Both bedrooms were nice. We slept well in there -except for the two nights that I CHOSE to sleep on the lanai. I can’t explain how peaceful it is to just sit out there & listen to the ocean. Nothing competes with the daytime views, but the night sky was also pretty stunning. We started most days with coffee on the lanai (organic, compostable pods provided for the Keurig) and then walked to nearby businesses before heading to the beach or excursion of choice. The coffee shop was a MUST, but get a punch card (we didn’t find out until too late)! So, that brings us to location! Royal Kahana is quite centrally located. There were restaurants, coffee shops, a general store, & even snorkel rentals literally across the street. We could have managed to survive quite happily just by walking everywhere! But you DON’T want to do that!!! There is too much beauty to see on Maui! We visited many beaches to the north & to the south, including Lahaina whaler’s village, Baby Beach, Napili (for snorkeling), & then finally D.T. Fleming Beach, which was our favorite because it wasn’t too crowded. We basically swam right next to several sea turtles, & our sons enjoyed the waves while we enjoyed the sand. There are beaches everywhere- each with their own, specific strengths. Talk to the kind folks at Snorkel Bob’s on the way back from your morning walk. They are incredibly kind & helpful & were able to steer us towards what we wanted from a beach for that day. Oh! And the unit is stocked with beach towels (look in the half bath cabinets), chairs, coolers, umbrellas, & even a few toys for little ones if you have them! This was especially nice for those of us who were packing light & traveling from VA! The washer & dryer were clutch as well. Basically, just get here! You won’t want to leave!!!
