"We arrived at the location to check in and the groundskeeper could not understand why we were there. We called the number listed and the owner didn’t k ow why we were there and said that he rpirperty wasn’t even listed on Expedia!!! BUT Expedia deducted the money from our account!!!! So we looked at a room that was open (which was the room we booked) and it was being used as the trash room!!! Stacked to the ceiling with debris and trash!!! It was the worst service and experience to date...

"There are two Kakwele Lodges. The one we stayed at was further from the airport in a back street of Lusaka, about a 20 minute drive. We were charged $15 for each of the 4 journeys to and from the airport, which I considered to be excessive. The room at the lodge was adequate, but a little cramped (especially the shower). "Arrived at the hotel to be told we didn't have a booking and they had.not been on your books for 4 yrs Advise by owner and taxi driver that it was not safe for us to stay in the area as it was the poorest part of town We had to find alternate accommodation late in the afternoon at a cost of over $600,this was a very stressful situation for 2 females I have used Expedia several times in the past with no problems I feel that i should be re embursed for out of pocket expenses"
