"First, the place is on beautiful grounds. There are monkeys and parrots and cuckoos in the trees and it is very lush and green. Inside is not so great. Water pressure was marginal for the shower- just a trickle. The bed was a plastic-encased hard mattress covered with a top sheet. The AC and the WiFi worked, but this was not worth the price at all. Plus, though it seems close to LUN on the map, it isn’t. 30 min taxi to get there. "

"Overnattede, fik en lokal øl og sandwich i baren. Øllet koldt og sandwichen god (skinke, ost og club sandwich) Bassin, med god plads omkring. God morgenmad. Aftensmaden, her kunne "kun" vælges kylling. Øvrige retter fra a'la carte kortet, havde de ikke. Godt med kaffe, tee og el.kedel på værlset. Døren til værlset kunne ikke låses indefra. Der manglede lys på badværlset -det ene led lys virkede ikke. Døren til bruse kabinen kunne ikke lukke. Sengens fejre kunne tydelig mærkes igennem."

"This lodge is a very good local experience. Although the lodge needs more attention to get it to excellence, they are VERY friendly and accommodating. The rooms are spacious - needs a little re-design, but overall good. The restaurant is set and neat, food not restaurant level, but if you are happy with a quick meal made by the manager/driver/cook/handyman, all good. "We love staying at the Neelkanth Sarovar—it is such a lovely hotel—in fact, I would argue it’s the very best in Lusaka. The deluxe rooms are so spacious and comfortable with a separate seating area and a kitchen, including a cooktop for preparing small meals. I also appreciate the washer with a semi-enclosed balcony for hanging our clothes to dry. This is my 4th or 5th time to stay here, and I’m sure I will stay at the Neelkanth Sarovar again the next time I’m in Lusaka. "

"A very good hotel, friendly staff, a good location opposite the Arcade Shopping Centre, good large rooms that has what one needs and where everything functions. On the negative side, the rooms are a bit dark, if used to work from and do not have a view of any kind. However both the restaurant and the pool has good and pleasant areas which can be used to work from. The service and the coffee is good."

"Sam the general Manager is very helpful and goes out of his way to assist you whenever he can. The staff are very friendly and give you the feeling that they are to help and make your stay as comfortable as possible nothing seems to be to much trouble. The best of being self catering but with all the facilities that you would get in a hotel ie meals cooked to order plus plus. The only item that is missing for me was that there was no gym and i am an exercise fanatic."
