"The property itself is very lovely and rich with history. It was peaceful to walk around and observe the beautiful oak trees. My room however had carpet with stains everywhere. I was surprised for the cost of the room that the carpet looked really dirty."

"The hotels location is definitely it's best asset. It's located right on the beach, which we loved. Great staff and service. The hotel generally feels safe and welcoming. The hotel is dated, and so are the amenities. The mood at the breakfast area was great, and the meal was ok, but we have had better at other budget hotels. The beds we're comfortable and the rooms very clean. Simply furnished, but we liked it. We had a great stay."

"The entire complex is beautiful and very well maintained. The staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly. We really appreciated the shuttle service that will take you almost anywhere on the island and pick you up to come back within minutes of your call. We didn’t have time to use the free bicycles, but we saw they are SUN Brand and our bikes at home are the same brand. They are Wonderful bikes to ride. Food in the dining room was excellent."

"It was a good location. We really liked the breakfast and pool option. The room was mostly clean aside from the fridge the first couple days. I do like they have a fridge and microwave option."

"The location can’t be beat - right on the ocean, right on the bike path, two restaurants on either side so you don’t have to drive anywhere if you don’t want to. We have stayed here several times, however on this trip we noticed how rundown the property is looking. "Have had better breakfast. Parking was tight for my Silverado. Room had beer cans under sink and wine bottle. Coffee maker in room was not working. Staff was great. Room was small for 250.00 a night. No table or couch."

"Most things about our stay were lovely! The property is beautiful and the rooms were clean. There were only two issues - one was how hard the bed was. I know that everyone has their preferences but this bed was practically rock hard to me. On the other end of the spectrum, my husband liked the firmness. You know what you prefer, so take this information and use it how you will. The second was a slightly rude encounter with the security guard. My husband was trying to get the TV to come on and...

"Room was clean and mattress was comfortable. Strong smell of bleach in the bed linens. Staff was friendly unable to find at times. Pool was refreshing. Food was adequate. Parking a breeze. Female at bar on the evening was nice."

"As soon as I arrived, the gentleman at the front desk was very pleasant and helpful. He made my stay 1000% times better! The room was very clean and the cleaning staffed did a marvelous job keeping the room spotless. I will definitely book here again!"
