"The property itself is very lovely and rich with history. It was peaceful to walk around and observe the beautiful oak trees. My room however had carpet with stains everywhere. I was surprised for the cost of the room that the carpet looked really dirty."

"The hotels location is definitely it's best asset. It's located right on the beach, which we loved. Great staff and service. The hotel generally feels safe and welcoming. The hotel is dated, and so are the amenities. The mood at the breakfast area was great, and the meal was ok, but we have had better at other budget hotels. The beds we're comfortable and the rooms very clean. Simply furnished, but we liked it. We had a great stay."

"The entire complex is beautiful and very well maintained. The staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly. We really appreciated the shuttle service that will take you almost anywhere on the island and pick you up to come back within minutes of your call. We didn’t have time to use the free bicycles, but we saw they are SUN Brand and our bikes at home are the same brand. They are Wonderful bikes to ride. Food in the dining room was excellent."

"It was a good location. We really liked the breakfast and pool option. The room was mostly clean aside from the fridge the first couple days. I do like they have a fridge and microwave option."

We have stayed here several times, however on this trip we noticed how rundown the property is looking. "Have had better breakfast. Parking was tight for my Silverado. Room had beer cans under sink and wine bottle. Coffee maker in room was not working. Staff was great. Room was small for 250.00 a night. No table or couch."

I know that everyone has their preferences but this bed was practically rock hard to me. On the other end of the spectrum, my husband liked the firmness. "Excellent budget travel or vacation option! The staff was very friendly. The hotel was clean. Everything in the room functioned properly. The hotel is quietly situated away from town. There are several options close to the hotel for basic supplies. The location is good in that everything, the town or nearby islands, are all about 15 to 20 minutes away. The perfect quiet, stress-free pivot point for everything in the area."
