"Our 3rd year returning to this wonderful home in Calais! The close proximity to Montpelier and Stowe is a blessing, but the best part is hitting that dirt road on the way to the house. The community is so welcoming, always offering a wave or a smile. The house is situated on a gorgeous piece of land, walking distance to Curtis Pond. "The house was lovely, views of the lake were amazing! It was equipped with all of your basic needs to cook and eat-in. We enjoyed the sunrise, sunset and watching the sailboats in Mallettes bay. Downtown Burlington is a short drive away and Colchester had a lot of outdoor trails and parks to explore as well. We’ll be back!"

"Overall the space was clean, bedding was comfortable and the location was great: super close to downtown Stowe, Ben and Jerry’s and Waterbury. While the listing says it’s an entire home, it is in fact a suite or apartment on the lower level of the building shown in the pictures and the rest of the house is a separate rental; this was no problem just unexpected as the upper house was being rented out at the same time so parking was tight and outdoor space was shared."
