"Five months later, and we are still waiting for the hotel to refund the double payment. Booked and paid via hotels.com - but upon arrival the hotel could not see this in their system and forced us to pay directly to them also. Did not have other options than doing this - but assumed they would refund once their error was clear. Many e-mails later and we are still waiting"

"We had a wonderful stay! Jordan at the front desk was the absolute best—helpful, friendly, and full of great recommendations that made our trip even better. The grounds were beautiful, almost like staying in a jungle, and the pool was gorgeous. Just wish the bar had been opened. The location was very convenient and just a short drive to town. We also felt very safe, especially with the beautiful guard dog on the property. Our room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. Highly recommend!"

"The staff was super friendly, the pools were super fun with a lot of floats and games, and the area was great! A 3 min walk to the beach! The only thing that took me by surprise was that there is a nightclub on the property. On Friday night they had a party and DJ. It was super fun, but warning, there will be loud music till late, so consider that if it’s not your scene! I think it’s only weekends though. We had a blast!"

"We loved our stay in this rustic but comfortable lodge located in the Costa Rican wilderness. The staff are lively and the food excellent. Outstanding bird watching as well."

"The housekeeping services and the staff at the bar was amazing. Loved rhe music vibes and pool table at the bar. Unfortunately i didn't go into the pool with the swim up bar bur I will definitely return the next time i visit Jaco."

"Clean room and steps from the pool. The air conditioner is ice cold and the bed very comfy. We also liked the spacious shower. Pops ice cream is to die for and we enjoyed the short walk to mantas beach where we saw many monkeys with their babies, a sloth and her baby too along with the resident macaws! The pool is clean huge and very welcoming!! We liked the iguanas sunning beside the pool too. We would stay again, very private and abundant wildlife too"
