"Fui passar alguns dias em Joanesburgo com a minha Esposa, Adoramos o Hotel. Gentes atenciosos, amigavelmente incríveis, café da manhã simples mas lindo demais. São maravilhosos e pacientes demais, a gente não fala inglês, eles faziam de tudo para entenderem e atenderem os nossos pedidos e queriam que a gente entendesse o que estavam falando. A localização é boa, está no centro. O problema de Joanesburgo é que a iluminação durante a noite é fraca, então, tenham cuidado ou evitem de andar à noite....

"Nice guesthouse, in a quite safe area of Johannesbourg. I stayed there for more than 3 weeks, being in the area for my job.
Unfortunately there are not restaurants very close but the guesthouse is not far (less than 3 km) from The Glen Shopping Centre, where you can find many restaurants and fast foods. In addition, the owners now offer the possibility to have dinner in the guesthouse, cooked by them, if reserved in the morning everyday, choosing from a varied menu.

"The hotel is in a busy location where you have a lot restaurants and shopping malls, the rooms are neat and the cleaners are always on time to make it better.
I think for family rooms there should be provisions to cook for yourself. "

Sal som ikke er opvarmet og derfor for kold at bruge. Vil bestemt anbefale dette hotel som også er tæt på Park station og lige på grænsen til Hillbrow (undgå dog den bydel hvis du ikke er bekendt med området)"

"Big rooms, safe parking. Expensive wifi -forget about it. But free internet in lobby. Very helpful staff. Good but a bit overpriced restaurant -not many other options in the area. Close to down town. Area around hotel is relatively safe after dark. The hotels real attraction, its rooftop bar was closed -VERY disappointing."

Staff was wonderful, we had a late check-in due to flights and they were waiting for us (I'm sure an inconvenience but they never made us feel as such) Breakfast was fresh and delicious. Location was convenient and tucked away from the noise and traffic. Would recommend."

We paid extra for the Jozi historical gold mine tour and were glad we did. Going down in the gold mine and later up on the large Ferris wheel were both highlights for us."

"I enjoyed the customer service by my host, Warren. He was so accommodating to my needs and questions. This was far better than a corporate chain of hotels. From the time I checked in to my last day, he had a great smile, the staff had impeccable service. He even made sure I had hot breakfast before my early safari tour! I would recommend this place to book whenever you are in Johannesburg, South Africa. I will be booking here again in the future! 😊"

"Foxwood House is a historic building with the main house and several out buildings. I had originally booked Coach House. we arrived in the dark (cause it sets early here) and basically just unpacked, exhausted from long flight.
TV was not working so the manager moved us to Onze Emmie suite. WOW loved it. had a lovely patio we enjoyed. large room, large bathroom.the surrounding area is very wild with flowers and vines and walking paths. I'm sure people could find fault with it but I loved the 2...

"This is a nice South African hotel. Cold AC. The rooms were on the small side, but it was clean and nice overall. Breakfast was good and you could get a hamburger and fries for the equivalent of $4 usd.
I really liked that the parking was walled in and secured. The location is about 15 mins from the airport and less than 30 mins to nearly any place in Joburg.
The only downside is the neighborhood. Not a place you should walk...especially at night. But once you're inside, you feel safe."
