"The location was great. The hotel is priced appropriately. We were here for other commitments and didn’t get much beach time other than a few strolls during our stay. We will definitely be back and staying for fun at the beach. I loved having a kitchen to make healthy meals but there are tons of food options nearby. I did appreciate the contactless check in/out since we were arriving late and leaving early. "

"If you’re looking for an affordable place to sleep and have a hot shower near the Padre Island National Seashore this is a great place. It’s not fancy but the air conditioning was ice cold and the rooms are clean and equipped with microwaves and refrigerators. There are several food options around and it’s minutes from the entrance to the national seashore. The owners were friendly also. "

"We requested a kitchenette and a king bed. When we got there they were not available and we had to take a queen bed no kitchenette. But staff was very nice. The bathroom door did have what looked like blood on it and bedding was torn. Over all still a pleasant stay. Quiet.close to what we needed. "

"We had a very good stay. The only thing I have that was misleading was the water pictures. We could not do anything by the water. The dock was for another area not included with Lodge. Confusing to us we thought it was included for lodge use. We were down here for family visit.Swimming pool was awesome."

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Hotel had all the creature-comforts, and the inside of the property was clean. The parking lot could use a little attention. Staff was super friendly. Only thing we didn't like is that breakfast stopped serving very early. It was over by 9."

"People watch out we booked on expedia only to be told when we arrived at the hotel they had no reservation for us and there were no rooms available . It is better to just book directly on the hotels website then to get the go around from expedias customer service to get the issue resolved.I am still waiting on an email yeah you read that right an email "

"Customer service was helpful, the downfalls, we were on the 2nd floor, exiting the elevator, the carpets are filthy, were not vacuumed, the room was clean, the shower curtain was way too short, while showering the floor was getting wet. no shelfs or a place to put soap or items in the shower, water pressure was very low. Breakfast was ok- no butter for toast, coffee was cold. eggs and sausage were good. = I lost my earring and I reported it to the front desk and it was found and...
