A heads up that being less than 10 miles from the park actually means that it'll take you an hour of switchback driving to get to the General Sherman tree, but the drive up (and back) is spectacular as you get up into the mountains. "We were glad they left the A/C on because it was really hot during our stay but the A/C kept it comfortable. The house felt really roomy for a 2 bed 1 bath house."

"The house was nice and had all the amenities needed for a long weekend stay. Clean and comfortable sleeping accommodations. We used the king bed and pullout sofa. Conveniently located to a few local restaurants and coffee shop. Close to park entrance. "

"Here's a summary of our 3-night stay for a party of five: Location & Safety (10/10): The setting is beautiful and feels very safe. We loved the surrounding mountains and citrus trees. Parking (10/10): 5 spaces for cars. Very convenient. Cleanliness & Pests (2/10): This was a major issue. While the home was tidy upon arrival, there was a rodent inside. "Cute property very close to Three Rivers and the park entrance. The kids loved giving the horses treats, checking out the river and meeting the dogs. I would recommend adding a microwave, more kitchen supplies and better bedding and towels."
