"We stayed in Mallards View for 2 nights during November 2023, so the whole area was quiet. The cottage was fantastically clean with nice decor, and small space was cleverly used. Great location to walk into Shanklin and you can even catch a bus. There is a lovely park and walking path (SS10 & 85) to town across the road. What didn't we love? Honestly nothing really bothered us, but choice of washing machine in the kitchen instead of a dishwasher may be a challenge for a larger group doing true...

"Great stay for two moms and two young boys - house had everything we needed to cook at night and was a great base to explore the island during the day. Loved being able to walk down the steps to the playground overlooking the sea and then down to the beach at Ventnor. Highly recommend!"

"The cottage seems to be recently refurbished provides most of the modern facilities but without luxury. The house is warm and have all the necessary to cook and stay like home. You have even dishwasher, washing machine and convenient drier. The surrounding provides walk paths by the coast. Note that you can not access directly the beach as there is a cliff, you need to walk a mile or so so access the sea shore. We had an issue with a water leak on a Sunday night 31 of December but we received a...
