Feriehuse i Isle of Eriska

"Rooms spotless everything you need decor a bit tired as we all know it rains a lot in Scotland so would be good to have some kind of protection from rain over hot tub"

"What a find! This little hoos on a loch with a hot tub was cosy and perfect as a base for our Glencoe hikes. We had evening and morning hot tubs and loved watching the weather come over. The restaurant next door was excellent and the hosts helpful and friendly. Was hard to leave!"

"Great house with a stunning view"

"Die Aussicht und der Pool war toll. Die Badezimmer und Wc weniger.2 der Duschschläuche waren defekt.Die Küche ist nicht sehr gut ausgestattet um selber zu kochen. Die Waschmaschine war so schmutzig, dass wir sie nicht gebrauchen konnten. Sehr schade ums schöne Häusschen."

"Super cozy A-frame cabin with spectacular views of the lock. Was compact for the 2 adults and 2 teenagers, but we all fit and enjoyed our stay. Tiny and stocked kitchen. The view is definitely the main draw, and was nice to use the hot tub too. Walking to the hotel to have dinner was a nice perk."

"Beautiful view! Hot tub was lovely. The cabin was spacious with a good layout. The restaurant was delicious. "

"We stayed at Aonach Cottage in late June and early July of 2026. The cottage is beautiful and surrounded by mountains. The road to the cottage is about 7 minutes long and bumpy, but worth it to be in such a beautiful location. Here are some details about the cottage. In the picture shown, the Aonach cottage rental is the right half of the building. The left half is another cottage. Inside the cottage, there are two bedrooms on the first floor. The first bedroom has a queen bed, the...

"The cottage was comfortable and had everything we needed. Frances suggested two places for dinner, and they were both really good. She also gave us tips about the hike we wanted to do and recommended a place for lunch afterwards. It’s a beautiful area. If you go, walk down the road to the lake."

"This was our first stay in the Glencoe area and we were very happy with the accommodations! We especially love coming back to an awesome hot tub after a long day of hiking as well. Such a great location as well, with plenty of amenities that are within a 10 minute drive. Also, the onsite restaurant was very nice and the food was outstanding!"

"Lovely host who was very accommodating. We arrived late and only stayed one night. Not sure if fans are available but even with the heat turned off, it was a bit warm. Very clean, nice house that was as advertised."

"An excellent short break, very relaxing. Weather not great but expected due to the time of year, this didn't spoil the week. Staff were excellent and most helpful. The Jamming session of local musicians in the middle of the week was a treat"

"Very spacious cabin in a beautiful location! It has everything you need, no frills. Easy walk to the ferry, easy drive to Ft William or Oban."

"Great location, but the accomodation wasn't high quality, little bit old and with a very small and old bathroom. The rest was ok, e.g. the check-in/check-out process and the service."

"The setting is idyllic in lovely peaceful surroundings, nature all around. The cottage is large, airy and bright and everything you could need was provided. Although quite a distance from Oban, the main road was pretty quiet and a pleasant drive. The pool was an added bonus, but the sauna wasn't working. We were there on the hottest weekend of the year, so didn't need the sauna."

"This was our first visit to the West Highlands and we were not disappointed. A beautifully maintained resort within a spectacular setting. We had planned to visit the islands during the week but found so much to do locally we decided to save the islands for a future visit. We particularly enjoyed the local walks from the resort which we purchased from reception for £1 on arrival. We also enjoyed some beautiful cycle rides in particular along the Crinan Canal, as well as enjoying local areas of...

"Really enjoyed our stay.Just did not have enough time to spend on all the things available. Just a nice part of the world to be in"

"Melfort never disappoints; excellent staff and accommodation -only downside on this occasion, Shower of Herring closed until new people reopen it on 10 October. However, nearby Cufail Hotel supplied excellent meals."
