"This is a great location in the heart of Ojochal. The property is very clean. Unfortunately, it suffers from some issues that the owner cannot solve - there are no electrical outlets in the very small bathrooms, hot water does not reach one of the bathrooms causing daily cold showers, and cellular service at this location is poor. "We loved our stay at Pura Vida Ecolodge. Perfect accommodations for our two couples. Excellent pre-visit packages with lots of information about the property and the surrounding area. We hiked the "hundreds of white steps" trail and it turned out to be 614 steps-give or take-each way. Gersan and Illiana were fabulous! The road is a challenge so believe Joe when he says you need 4WD!"
