"I booked a double-bed room with a private bathroom, but when I checked in around 10 p.m., I discovered the bathroom was shared with unknown guests in another room and, unbelievably, it had no door lock. The bathroom was terrible: the showerhead looked over 50 years old and sprayed water unpredictably, the shower area was too small for a six-foot person, and the sink inside the room drained extremely slowly. The lodge even provides earplugs because it is so noisy. Reception said no...

"Everything was great other than some minor maintenance issues. Hair dryer was not working but couldve been solved earlier, its just that we called too late that noone is able to take care of it. Curtains are also needed to be checked, has cuts and tears. But staff was great in accomodating our needs. So thank you."

"The staff was very friendly upon arrival. The room was nice and clean too. The breakfast is what you would imagine, scrambled eggs, sausage links, biscuits and gravy, fresh waffle maker, bagels, cereal, etc. All in all it was a very enjoyable stay. "To my surprise this was the exact same cabin we stayed in a couple years ago. In fact I didn’t realize this when I booked my stay. The new log structure is really impressive we can’t wait to see the rest of the improvements. The only thing I could add is parking in front of the cabin kind of block other vehicles trying to squeeze through. I do believe in the summer we parked on the side of the cabin in the grass. Maybe you could make that a more permanent parking space and plow it in the winter...

"I was very impressed with this motel! The noise in the rooms is minimal despite being on a busy road. The rooms not only looked clean, but it SMELLED clean!!
