We stayed at WEIL while visiting Ipoh for a few days.
Overall the hotel looks new, however there are a lot of details that need to be corrected. Cleaning was not done properly, and you already had a feeling of wear and tear on the hotel rooms. The in-house restaurant for both breakfast and dinner was not good at all, do not recommend eating any of your meals here.
The hotel is a bit of a walk to the city centre (15-20 mins), but there is a big mall right next door with a cinema, restaurants and shops. It has a good position if you want to go outside to see some of the temples and hot springs.
