"Matera er et helt fantastisk sted og Residence ligger virkeligt godt. Stedet har en udmærket restaurant, og et rigtig fint vinkort. Selve værelset var også som sådan rigtig godt. Det er en helt særlig oplevelse at bo i en grotte. Desværre var luftfugtigheden ret høj da vi var der hvilket tog noget af fornøjelsen. Men absolut anbefalelsesværdigt."

"We absolutely loved our stay in the La Cava nel Barisano Suite. Rosalba and Gianfranco were wonderful and generous hosts providing us with breakfast supplies and beautiful cakes. They recommended where to park and guided us into the Sassi in the dark. Their communication during our stay was great. The Cave itself is beautifully appointed with a gorgeous terrace, looking out to the stunning view of the Sassi, we were blown away. The shower is a real surprise and treat. "Funktionelle Unterkunft, nur ca. 350m zur Piazza Vittorio Veneto. In der Unterkunft ist alles vorhanden, bei Ankunft erhielten wir von Prospero und seinem Sohn viele nützliche Informationen. Matera ist unglaublich beeindruckend, samstags sehr großer Straßenmarkt im neuen Teil der Stadt. Sehr empfehlenswert!"

"We stayed at Simona’s to go to SailGP. The accommodations were perfect and Simona helped us by booking taxis and restaurants. She also made sure we were having the best time. The place is out of the city a bit but close to beaches and the great community of San Vito, only a ten minute taxi ride to Taranto."

"Domenico is a great host. He wanted to meet us personally so he could share his enthusiasm about Matera with us. The condo is very nice and close to the Sassi. I’d stay here again."

"The condo is a short walk from the centre. No elevator makes for getting luggage to the condo a work out. However when you open the door it is worth the effort. Pictures are very accurate, it is a large condo. Our host left a very nice surprise of breakfast items. The bedrooms are large and lots of storage. The host was easy to communicate with and quick response. Prrhaps one day we will return to this amazi g cindo in a beautiful city. "
