"Overall, we really enjoyed our stay here! A nice, straightforward, and easy 35 minute walk to the center of Inverness. We had 5 adults and 2 children (ages 4 and 2) and there was plenty of space for all of us. It got a bit toasty at times with no AC, but we made it work. The washer/dryer combo took a long time to wash and dry, and we could never figure out how to turn on the hot water to the bathtub (those things were probably on us), but overall was a clean and cozy stay; it was our favorite...

"This house was absolutely perfect for our group of 6- 2 grandparents, 2 parents, and 2 kids. It’s charming and cozy and the perfect home base for adventures in the highlands. One member of our group fell at a restaurant and spent the rest of our stay in a wheelchair. The house is very accessible and Susan was incredibly accommodating and responsive. Would stay here again in a heartbeat!"

"Welcomed by Keith who talked us through everything in relation to breakfast, our room etc. Everything was perfect. Hubby was happy as coffee machine in our room! Spacious, large en-suite with good shower. Loved the ‘hair straightener’ slate on the dressing table to ensure no burn marks left - I used that. Huge choice for breakfast. Lovely room to eat it in. The property is in a great position. Would definitely recommend & return. "

"We stayed at the Rose Cottage in July 2025 and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Gregor answered every question we had in a very timely manner and even gave us a ride to the train station on our last day. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. It was also very helpful to have a washer and dryer to use in the middle of our trip. Thank you Gregor!"

"We had the most stunning holiday at New Brachkashie! From the moment you enter the cottage you feel at home. It’s cosy, warm, beautifully decorated and has the best view from the kitchen table! During our stay we explored Fort Augustus and nearby places but the biggest adventure was on the islands of loch Knockie that we reached by cottage boat! Most incredible memories for our children! Can’t wait to be back!"

"We were lucky enough to spend three nights at Four Winds. I really can’t think of anything else to say except it was perfect, so clean, so comfortable, so beautifully organized. Perfect location for day trips around the area. I would recommend this cottage to anyone. Meet the proprietors Kirstie and Frazer, what a lovely couple always available to help as needed."

"Loved our stay! Views are incredible- everything we needed for cooking meals was there. Water pressure in the shower was wonderful and it’s a gorgeous easy drive into Inverness for any adventure. Even had some wildlife visit- perfect wee cottage to enjoy quiet and nature!"
