"This is a fun and unique place to stay as it is a (separated) part of a residential property. The communication was helpful and timely. The room was well appointed and made thorough use of what is a smaller space. Be aware that parking is not available immediately at the property but is in easy (very brief) walking distance."

"We had a lovely stay at Dormie House from 6th - 10 July. We had a room that was clean yet really small to be honest . There was no where to hang clothes, apart from two pegs to hang our coats on. That was a bit frustrating. Also painters came in on the second day and the strong smell of enamel paint permeated into our room ...it was awful , I ended up with a terrible headache and went down to reception to see if something could be done. The owners are the nicest people who really wants the best for you and so easy to talk to. They will help you with guidance in the area if you need it. Even if you are their guest, it feels like you are “home”. We will definitely recommend it to others…"

Additional information provided before the stay made the experience easy and enjoyable. Location was convenient, close to the centre of Mittagong and other Southern Highland towns.
