"Overall, it was a great place to stay for my husband and I. We stayed 4 nights and the house was comfortable and clean. The only note I have is that the door you enter the house has a really wide gap so I had to stuff a dish towel in it to keep to hot air out or maybe possible insects from outdoors. But, it is a historic house and definitely did not ruin the trip by any means. "Our stay had multiple issues that made it frustrating and uncomfortable. First, safety and access: the long, narrow walkway from Jones Street to the cabin was very dark and uneven. We tripped more than once. The motion light was barely effective, making a flashlight an absolute necessity. "Had a wonderful say here, as it was close to downtown and all of the great things in Savannah. It was very clean and comfortable, easy checking in and out.I would caution some, as the spiral staircase to the loft is very steep, and at 58 with a new hip I had no problems, but before new hip I would have struggled getting luggage up. If your wife is an over packer with large suitcase just beware. Other than that I personally will go back and recommend."
