"We stayed for Memorial Day weekend as a family with our two dogs. Listing was as described and we had no issues. Neighborhood is still a work in progress after the tornado with much clean up to do but we were warned and expected that! Host was very responsive to our questions."

"What an incredible property! One of the best rental properties we’ve ever rented. From the vintage and new decor, well placed lighting, and comfortable EVERYTHING! The linens, bedding and bathroom were quite luxurious. The panoramic views from the front bay of windows made it so worth it. While we weren’t able to use the beautiful patio due to the weather, I’m sure we would have enjoyed that space as well. I highly recommend this property!"

"We aren't far from home so I didn't pack much for the kids to do. Our kids were very happy to see a video game console (old school, which kept their attention longer than even our Switch at home), many board games, kids books, legos, and even stuffies. There was plenty of space for all 5 of us plus our dogs. The beds and pull out couch are all comfortable. They provided plenty of amenities including a book with all the local favorite places. We spent hours at the beach, took lots of walks,...

"Enjoyed our stay and the location was nice. Beds could have been a little more comfortable. Needs an a/c unit in each room. Was tough to sleep at night the doors closed. Good thing was we had a nice weather week."

We did need to contact the manager of this place and she responded immediately. Met one of the neighbors and she was very nice. We asked her for recommendations on eating places and loved the place (Titlted Hilton) she recommended. We hope to visit this place again."

"We had a wonderful time on Orchard Island! Such a friendly area. Our trip was to see the eclipse and we were not disappointed. We would love to come back in the summer and actually use the lake! We were saddened by all the tornado damage in the area but Chris was so helpful about keeping us updated on the house and businesses in the area. We were happy to come and support the area."

"The staff of this property was well above reproach. My daughter forgot one of her stuff animals at the site and they offered to ship it to us. This is the second time we’ve stayed at this particular cottage and we have enjoyed it so much that we will definitely be back, all the neighbors were super nice. It is definitely worth the time and energy. We spent to save it and we will definitely be back. "

"We loved our stay at this house! It is updated & very clean. Only note I have is to be aware that the listing is not entirely accurate on number of bedrooms - it lists 4, but there are truly only 3 bedrooms. The 4th is a nook/loft space outside the primary suite on the 2nd floor (not a separate room/closed door option). We are flexible so no issue for us, but for those looking for 4 true bedrooms this would not be accurate. Overall, would recommend for a trip to Indian Lake & would stay again!"
