"The listing picture wasn't even close. Front yard was part of marina with boat trailers and cars. House was filthy and in disrepair. Bedroom mattress was wrapped in moving plastic. It caved in through the bedspring when you sat on it. Carpet was so dirty and moldy that when you walked out of the bedroom, your shoes would stick. Not much furniture and furniture that was there was curb pick up quality. Dishes and appliances were dirty. TV in bedroom was on the floor in the closet. ...

"We had a wonderful stay at the Cozy Lake House. The home was clean, well cared for, and thoughtfully decorated for the holidays, which made it feel especially welcoming. Communication with Steve was excellent from start to finish. The house was quiet and peaceful, with a beautiful lake view that we really enjoyed. Everything was as described, and the space was comfortable and relaxing. We would happily stay here again."

"The house was fine. Water had distinctive smell to it. The house was clean. While we were there, we received about 8 inches of snow. It would have been helpful to have the snow removed or a shovel. We had to use a broom to clear a path."

We found 2 dirty socks on one of the beds so we had to change our sleeping arrangements around that so no one used that bed. The place itself is nice, if it was managed properly it would have been much much better."

"Greta house for a large group as we were staying for a wedding. Managed to sleep 14 of us. Host was very friendly and communicative and took care of any issues. We had cars so it was easy to get around. The reserve nearby is a nice walk. Would recommend for large groups. "
