"It was quiet and good area for stargazing . Owner and staff were very helpful and friendly. We had a flat tire and they were very helpful in being able to air it up. We plan to return for more stargazing. Got wonderful pictures of the Perseids meteor shower,as well as the Heart Nebula."

"This place is perfect for a romantic getaway! The cabin is so nicely furnished and was super easy for check in/check out. The kitchen had plenty of room for us to bring some snacks and drinks. We enjoyed the hot tub in the evening and felt like we had plenty of privacy and quiet. The pool area is nicely updated and would be so relaxing when the warm weather gets here. I loved being close to Kerrville when we wanted to go out for a nice dinner, but the location was exactly what I wanted for a...

"Really enjoyed this cabin and want to come back. Wish our trip was longer! Communication with property manager was good as well as the visitor guide. Pool and kyacks were fun. The only issue was: we tried to go hiking but the trail was blocked by logs on one side and then large trash on the other. But the hot tub was so nice and peaceful and the cabin was so cute, it was worth it. I'll also recommend to my sister and we'll hopefully come back in the near future! "

"The tent cabin was clean and very comfortable. The private fenced in area was great. We enjoyed exploring the pond and property. The river access was phenomenal. Hosts were fantastic and excellent communication. We were pleasantly surprised at the large amount and variety of birds nearby. The house was stock very well in anticipation for everything we needed. Thank you!"

"My family of 4 enjoyed our stay here. It was not toddler-friendly, but we managed to leave without breaking anything. We loved kayaking on the little lake and enjoyed the short hike. The pool was only slightly heated (during Spring Break) but we got used to the chilly water. The propane grill and hot tub were both awesome. We couldnt get the fire pit to work so we used a lighter to roast marshmallows. Overall I would recommend staying here with kids over 3."

"Great place! Had a great time. The river access was key. Spent both nights eating at Howdys. Great food and atmosphere. Nice little lake. Caught some bass. Definitely recommend for a hill country getaway. "
