Kroer i Hudson Valley

"Very beautiful and historic. The property and the town. A bit enchanting. Nice boutique, locally owned shops. Fees like you stepped back in time. The room in the courtyard, Courtyard Double, was huge. It had a kitchenette type area with microwave, coffee maker and refrigerator, sitting area with a decanter of cream sherry, gas fire place. When you step outside, there is a beautiful view of delamater house and Fall foliage. Stunning. Breakfast was a few steps away. Quaint breakfast bldg....

"Our stay at Elmrock was exactly what we needed to get out of town and have many of the beautiful sites of Ulster County available nearby. The House we rented from them was beautifully kept. The Breakfasts were great ant the conversation with others made for nice mornings. ON a VERY hot July 4th Weekend the home was cool and comfortable! Would recommend the Inn highly."

"WM Farmer & Sons was a great boutique hotel. Location is amazing! We stayed in the Mercer suite & I would highly recommend. Great amenities, bed was unbelievably comfortable, and quiet. The common areas and outdoor space were beautiful. I will look forward to staying at this property again. We were there on a Wednesday and unfortunately, the restaurant was closed. Staff were great before, during, and after our stay. Absolutely 5 STARS"

"We stayed there just one night but easily could have stayed a few days. The property was very clean, quiet and cozy. The bedrooms were very comfortable and it was especially nice that the staff had made/left food for snacks and morning breakfast. very cool place. Will definitely rent again when we go back next year."

"Shower didn't even work & the most they offered was $60 in Expedia Credits"

"The inn is very charming on the outside and the grounds were very pretty in the fall. The inside is starting to look a bit run down. Our room was very small and also in need of a refresh. I expect more from a room when I’m paying $450 a night. The food was just ok. The decorations for Halloween, specifically the carved pumpkins were impressive. Overall I was a bit disappointed and I think it is way overpriced for what you are getting."

"Lovely property.unique historic buildings and rooms with updated amenities! Quiet and peaceful beautiful dinner!"

"The price was right -- much cheaper than most hotels today. I stayed there because it was very close to relatives I was visiting unlike other hotels on Route 4. Made for easy visit with little driving on unfamiliar roads. I liked the early 20th century / late 19th century decor and look and feel. Game/community room was small but nice touch. Where could it be better? (1) Musty smell in hallway outside my room -- not sure why -- much of building was fine (2) Lack of washer/dryer/laundry...

"Found the cleanliness of the room excellent - beautiful surroundings and the restaurant staff excellent as well"
