"The room was very clean Bed was good but could feel the springs a bit, although comfortable enough to sleep on The food was excellent especially the Sausage and Mash and the Steak and Ale Pie, good portion sizes, very friendly staff."

"Very Nice hotel, vunderfull room, Nice restaurant "

"A very quaint period public house. Our room was quite small but definitely adequate for our 2 night stay. Obviously to be expected with a quaint period public house. The bar was well stocked and plenty of room at the bar, surrounding tables and restaurant. The staff were very knowledgeable, engaging and friendly. Overall a very pleasurable stay and my wife is already planning to revisit with a friend. The 8 Bells is a perfect location to walk to the Bolney wine vineyard and neighbouring...

"Friendly and helpful people. Smallish room with small shower. Decent pub food"

"Angel Inn is close to the centre of Petworth, the staff were very friendly and welcoming. The room was clean and spacious, the bed was very comfortable, the bathroom had a large modern bath and separate shower and everything was very clean. We appreciated the teapot in the room and selection of teas, also the complimentary flapjack. We ate in the restaurant area of the inn and had an excellent meal. "

"Utroligt sødt og hjælpsomt personale og god mad, men hotellet er gammelt og slidt og klaustrofobisk og alt for dyrt i forhold til hvor det er og standarden."

"It is a very charming classic Brittish inn. Inside the inn is up to date, the rooms are cosy with the right products and the restaurant and bar is good - you feel at home at this place. "

"The room was cosy and clean and lovely with an amazing shower. And plenty of hot water. Bed was super comfy and I slept very well. Staff very helpful and friendly."

"The room was clean. The bathroom light didn't work and we were told we would have to use the communal bathroom instead. Couldn't open the window. Room had air vent from kitchen outside window."
