"A beautiful barn conversion in a gorgeous countryside setting. Very homely and cosy. I can’t fault it! Lovely owners, very friendly and welcoming. The garden area was lovely and you could see the farm animals. The secure field opposite the barn was brilliant and perfect for the pooches. The coastal walk on the doorstep of the barn was great and had amazing views. The sunset there was surreal. Would definitely recommend and we’ll be visiting again! "

"Thank you to Johnathan for an amazing stay at the Wilderness barns. It’s such a home away from home with everything you need for a week away. It is very rural and peaceful which suited us perfectly. A lovely relaxing retreat. The dogs loved it too with a lovely secure garden for them and us to enjoy. Johnathan was very helpful when we had a few initial issues which were rapidly resolved.Would love to stay again. "

"We were totally blown away by for us a perfect cottage. It was spacious & well equipped. No local facilities but major town of Bideford was 6 min drive away. Yes you could find small bits of wear & tear but nothing took away the complete feeling of total relaxation. Yes we would & will book again."

"Lapford mill cottage it's an Amazing Place, we really appreciate the days spent there. We loved the availability of piano, the kitchen well equipped, the garden and the Little steam train on Saturday.And Alex super host!"

"Lovely stay here. Very helpful friendly lady met us on arrival and explained where the games room was which was fab offering table tennis, pool and darts, we were then shown to our room. It’s a dog friendly place. Although we didn’t have a dog it was fun to see them. The apartment was clean and comfortable and great hot water for the shower. The communal garden was large overlooking fields and you can just see the sea which was a nice surprise. Ilfracombe is close by and a lovely little...

"The property was very clean and well furnished, with comfortable beds. The bathroom is well appointed, and comes with lovely, fluffy soft white towels. We received a welcome kit with tea, coffee, and biscuits, and found scones, jam, and clotted cream in the refrigerator. The Stanley House met our needs and was as described (the only discrepancy we found was that there was no clothes dryer--I even read the manual for the washer online to see if it was a combo washer/dryer). But that is a minor...
