Your room is in pre-fabricated units. It features big glass windows that open up wide to enjoy your outdoor surroundings, but also close up with complete privacy. Each unit has an excellent shower, with toilet and wash area. There is also climate control for each unit. There is no TV, but who needs it?!

"Kenji was a very nice host and his "guest house English" speaking was wonderful!! It is a perfect location if you are looking to wake up early and walk to the bamboo forest, you can be one of the first people there. "Mulan Hostel was wonderful. I came a little close to 9pm but they greeted me with such warmth and care. The dorm bed was comfortable and very nice. I loved the amenities and hot shower.
The area is perfect for seeing sights and also the bus stops right in front of the Hostel. The train was a 20min walk which is lovely in the Spring.

When at the front desk there was yummy mochi for guests to try! Oishii! So good! There is a dining area on the left you can sit and drink ice water and hot tea if you are staying at the hotel. It was hard to find dining at night because some restaurants close early and you have to cross bridge to search for other restaurants. Too many gnats flying around. Gnats were also in the rooms. The staff were really nice and very helpful and patient."
