"Lovely welcoming hosts, Lise was prompt and attentive. We just stayed the one night but it was a very restful and relaxing stay, very private and serene garden areas to enjoy, and all just a short walk to the Kohukohu CBD : ) Very handy to the pub and shop and just across the street from the bowls club where the locals will happily welcome you for a sneaky beverage, there’s some folks there enjoying a bowl and a beer most nights during the summer nights."

"The bach is in a great spot across road and through some bush to a great beach, but limited harbour views due to trees across the road. The bach is comfy and kitchen well appointed. Nice to have a table big enough for pur group. There is a handheld shower over a bath inside with main showers in a lean-to outside. This was fine for our group and shower pressure was great but I imagine some might not like this setup. We arrived just after a big storm but the outdoor areas and showers were long...

"The house has good potential and a charming layout. The location is close to all ammenities, Some areas, such as the heating system, could use an upgrade to enhance comfort and efficiency. With a few updates and proper care, this house has the potential to be perfect."

"Nice clean well priced studio unit with great views of the Hokianga Heads and Sand Dunes. Friendly, easy to deal with host. The unit had everything you need plus an amazing shower. Overall just a great convenient place to relax and chill out for a few days. "

"We had a delightful week in this 1860s cottage. It has been fitted out very comfortably and is surrounded by beautiful gardens including a variety of fruit trees. Fiona is a wonderful host, who responds promptly. It’s a 20 minute drive from the touristy offerings of Piahia and the busier Kerikeri so if you’re wanting shops and restaurants on your doorstep this may not be for you. If you enjoy the peace and quiet of the lush green countryside the you’ll love this cottage"
