"Vacationing family of 5 with 3 kids, 2 connecting rooms. Had a fabulous time at Oaks on the River. Spacious luxurious rooms, very comfortable beds, 100 % clean, friendly staff all over, great restaurant for evening dining and ala carte breakfast. Beautiful river view from rooms and restaurant. Only inconvenience was the heated pool was not heated :-("

"The breakfast was good, nothing wrong with it, but really not as exceptional as the reviews I read. The rooms were very nice: clean, spacious, and very quiet. Staff were all very friendly and efficient. Great place to stay. Would book it again in a heartbeat. "

"I liked having the walk-in shower as I have difficulty stepping into the bathtub with high sides. The room was bright and cheerful. Breakfast was the same as any other Holiday Inn Express, but I was disappointed they do not have hard boiled eggs there. Hostess said they don't carry them. This was my 3rd HI in 4 days, so I wasn't going to eat scrambled eggs, sausage or sausage gravy again."

"Always stay here on way to Fla. appreciate the pets are free!! However, our cat always manages to find a way to get under bed to hide. We have to use pillows to stuff around both sides at headboard. Otherwise all good. The “Cat Lady” at front desk very pleasant. "
