"The location for this property in the mountains is absolutely stunning. We drove up and found it easily. The room was such a delight. It was well looked after the beds were very comfortable. The view was amazing. There was a lovely coffee lounge with a beautiful view which we didn’t use, but was well equipped. We were lucky enough to use the fly on. Only thing we were missing was plug with ground to use our adapter or USB charge in the wall. Also i found the matresses a bit hard to sleep on. The personal are english speaking and very helpful. Can highly reccomend the hike from Nakatsugawa to Nagiso through magome and tsumago. It is a nice find to the price.

The only downside are the beds (traditional Japanese style) that are not really comfortable, you can hear everyone in the hostel as the room are separated by traditional paper doors. But you meet a lot of very nice people and socially it’s a really good opportunity "
