"Had a wonderful cozy and relaxing time at The Red Barn. The upstairs was perfect for our two daughters to have to themselves. We enjoyed renting a pontoon while we were there and I highly recommend that from the owner as well!! It’s exactly as described and they were super easy to work with. It was a unique place and that added a lot of charm to the stay overall. I’d stay in a fun and different place like this a thousand times before a hotel or condo that’s always the same cookie cutter...

"Our stay at the cabin was the most relaxing portion on our trip to the Midwest. Fishing on the water near the cabin provided non-stop action for the fishers in our group. And the pontoon was fun to use on the lake for cruising and more fishing opportunity. We will definitely be back again!"

"Had a great week at this spot! We were looking for a getaway away from people and more in nature and this definitely offered that. It's a pretty minimal setup. There's no running water on site (the pump water isn't drinkable), so make sure to bring some extra water for your stay. There was water there in a few jugs, but we found it helpful to have bottled water to put in the mini fridge. Otherwise, everything was as pictured and very comfortable. Thank you for a great stay!"
