Kroer i Hebden Bridge

"Friendly family business, good value. Comfortable bed and hot shower which was exactly what I needed after 18 hours of international travel. I stayed 2 nights in late September to attend a wedding in nearby Ripponden. The room was quite chilly but I actually like sleeping in a cold room. A space heater was provided, though I didn’t use it as the bed was cosy enough. It was handy that they served food downstairs and I really appreciated the vegetarian/vegan selections including veggie sausages...

"Convenient location and parking. Food was pretty good in the bar. Room would benefit from upgrading, it was dated and the bed was uncomfortable."

"I am absolutely appalled by the service received by Haworth Old Hall. Booked a night away via Expedia. Confirmation of booking received immediately. Over 24 hours later - the day of check in, I got a phone call advising they had double booked and there was no room available for us. We had to cancel everything as all other Haworth hotels were fully booked. I have emailed and rang them and messaged on here - no response - they have taken my money and have not refunded it - do not trust here"

"Location..it has beautiful views of the surrounding countryside. ( need a car) Rooms are very comfortable, tea /kettle etc. Stairs are a little steep. staff are lovely ,had a very pleasant stay. We arrived Saturday lunch time, they had a party of 40 in, but fitted us in and it was delicious! staff attentive and it arrived quickly so all good, so I am very sad ( and surprised ) to say breakfast was poor ! we didn't opt for the buffet and cooked ,rather just the cooked, it took ages to appear...

"Great location. Modern, clean room. Great food. Very helpful staff. Love it!!"

"Had a great stay. Staff were wonderful. Meals in the restaurant were the best I’ve had out for a long time. I’d travel the hour just for the food. Rooms were basic but clean and comfortable. It would have been flawless if there was an 2nd pillow and the door from the stairs entry didn’t bang so loundly when people walked through. Both an easy fix. Would definitely recommend"
