"On a whim we decided to fly to the Big Island and avoid the crowds and get a little hometown feel in Hilo. We missed the volcano eruption by just two days but that was the only disappointment for the trip. Our accommodations were perfect - exactly as described and photo’d. "Each bedroom and bathroom being situated across the living room (one on far left, one on far right) from each other was really nice after traveling with our 2 daughters for a week. It gave us some privacy from each other and a treat to each have our own bathroom. We loved the lanai and 2 separate sets of furniture on it to enjoy the view. We ordered breakfast from the host to be delivered which was a special treat and tasted amazing."
